I swore I was NEVER going to attempt this project again. Twice I'd tried making a DIY cardboard cat scratcher. And twice I'd nearly sliced my fingers off trying to cut what felt like a MILLION strips of cardboard with a craft knife. So why on earth would I try it a THIRD time?! Well, let me back up a little... Today I've got a different kind of paper craft to share with you. One that involves cardboard, a little glue, and some very lucky cats. π I've always loved the idea of turning old cardboard boxes into something useful. But after two frustrating (and slightly terrifying!) attempts, I'd pretty much given up. Until I discovered a little tool that completely changed everything. A cardboard cutter specifically made for this project! No more wrestling with a craft knife, trying to slice through endless strips of cardboard without losing a finger. And suddenly, the project I'd sworn off forever actually looked FUN. So, naturally, I had to give it one more try. And this time, it WORKED! π I made one for my sister's cat.. and then I got a little carried away and decided that ALL my friends' cats needed a new scratcher, too! π I put together a tutorial showing exactly how I made them, including the little tool that made all the difference. π See My DIY Cardboard Cat Scratcher Tutorialβ If you've got a cat (or know someone who does!) and a few cardboard boxes lying around, this might be your next favorite paper craft! Happy crafting! β€οΈ P.S. Not ready to tackle this project just yet? π Save it to your Pinterest board so you can find it when you're ready to turn those cardboard boxes into something your favorite kitty will love! β€οΈ |

Good morning Reader When I was little, we had a small flower garden tucked beside our garage, and in that garden grew the most beautiful deep red chrysanthemums. Oh, how I loved those mums! β€οΈ One day, my mom told me I could pick as many flowers from that plant as I wanted, as long as I helped take care of the garden. I was absolutely thrilled!
